Ferris State will honor its 1968 unbeaten team this Saturday with a special reunion

BIG RAPIDS – This is a historic weekend for Ferris State University Bulldog Football. This weekend, the University hosts the 40th Reunion for the storied undefeated 1968 Bulldog football team on campus.

“The Alumni Association is proud to honor and recognize a team that has had such an important impact on our football history in addition to being so supportive in helping establish scholarships for future student-athletes,” said FSU Alumni Director Jeremy Mishler said of the legendary team coached by FSU Bulldog Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Bob Leach. “We look forward to welcoming this outstanding team back to campus in a landmark year for Bulldog football.

As part of the celebration, the new Victory Bell (a project aided by several members of that 1968 squad) will officially be dedicated prior to the 12 p.m. kickoff for the game between the current Bulldogs and Northwood in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Top Taggart Field.
