INDIANAPOLIS – While Kyle Parrish will garner a lot of headlines with his 404-yard, four-touchdown performance, Ferris head coach Jeff Pierce was quick to salute other key players who made contributions in the Bulldogs’ 31-24 victory over Indianapolis on Saturday evening.
Seth Hubbard had three receptions for 79 yards with two touchdowns, Rahseem Jones-Salaam enjoyed a career-type day as he had a team-best 10 catches for 201 yards and a touchdown. Cole Meredith finished with six receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.
“Cole and Rahseem definitely stepped up and had some big games for us, but we had a lot of guys who really came in and made some nice contributions in this win,” Pierce said. “We had a lot of people who came in and gave us that extra effort we needed to get the job done and come away with a road win.”
Defensively, senior All-American defensive tackle Jake Visser finished with 13 total tackles, including one tackle for lost yardage. Senior linebacker Jordan Moore finished with 12 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Senior defensive back C.J. Lee finished with nine tackles while senior linebacker Kevin Noe totaled eight tackles with an interception.
