BIG RAPIDS – This weekend, Ferris State University’s football team returns to Top Taggart Field to challenge Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Northern Michigan in a 2 p.m. contest.

Following that game, the Gridiron Club plans to host a post-game reception following Saturday’s Hall of Fame Game. The post-game reception will take place at The Gate on Perry Street in Big Rapids. Popcorn and some discounted menu items will be available to fans who want to come in and mingle with members of the Bulldog coaching staff. It’s a great opportunity to finish a day of college football and meet with coaches and other friends and fans of the Bulldogs who will be in attendance at The Gate.

Additional post-game receptions will be at The Gate after home games against Northwood, Oct. 25, and Saginaw Valley State, Nov. 8. The reception after the Wayne State game, on Oct. 18, will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center as part of the overall homecoming celebration.
