FSU Academic Senate A message from Academic Senate President Douglas Haneline: Welcome to the homepage of the Academic Senate at Ferris State University! The Academic Senate is the voice of the faculty, serving as a cross-campus legislative body and as the official representative of the faculty to the President and the Board of Trustees on matters relating to academic policies and programs. The Senate’s principal goal in all its endeavors is to develop and maintain high-quality academic programs for Ferris students.
