Dr. Sandra "Sandy" L. Alspach
Professor of Communication
College of Arts & Sciences
Professor Sandy Alspach holds a Ph.D. in Communication with specializations in organization and rhetoric from Ohio University. She teaches a wide variety of courses from the General Education public speaking course to upper level courses including intercultural communication and communication theories. She also serves as Internship Director for her area. Sandy coaches the Ferris Speech Forensics Team and advises the Ferris chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the Communication Honor Society. |

Dr. Rick Griffin
Professor of Political Science
College of Arts & Sciences
Dr. Griffin teaches American Government, Public Administration, International Organization, and Social Science Research. He is especially interested in the politics of the Rio Grande Valley, and in politics and the media. He is the program coordinator for the Public Administration Program. |

Dr. Bill Potter
Administrative Coordinator
Dean, University College
Dr. Potter serves as the Administrative Liaison for PEP. He has been keenly interested in helping students of all kinds be successful in college as an academic advisor, an instructor in student success courses, and as an administrator responsible for providing support services. Dean Potter's research includes grade inflation, student retention, and assessment of student success strategies. |
