Day One: University Center, Midland and Bay City

Ferris State University officials kicked off the first day of the 2006 Presidential Bus Tour Monday morning by meeting with personnel from Delta College. The tour continued on to Midland, where Dow alumni gathered at the Tuscany for lunch. A tour of Dow Michigan Operations followed lunch and the evening was capped off with a dinner reception at Lumber Barons for alumni throughout the Tri-City area.
Day Two: Metro Detroit

Day two of the Presidential Bus Tour gave officials the opportunity to visit Daimler Chrysler in Auburn Hills and enjoy lunch at Detroit's Breakfast House and Grill with alumni. The day continued with tours and meetings at Schoolcraft College in Livonia and culminated with an alumni dinner at the Big Rock Chop House in Birmingham.
Day Three: Detroit/Dearborn

Day three of the Presidential Bus Tour took Ferris officials to the downtown campus of Wayne County Community College District in Detroit Wednesday morning. Lunch followed at Andiamo's in Dearborn. The afternoon included a tour of Detroit Diesel, with the evening wrapping up at the Grand City Grille in Detroit, with special guests from Ferris' Southeast Michigan Black Alumni Association.
Day Four: St. Joseph/Kalamazoo

Ferris officials wrapped up the final day of the Presidential Bus Tour Thursday in Western Michigan, visiting Kalamazoo Valley Community College in the morning, enjoying lunch with alumni at The Boulevard in St. Joseph and touring Jasper's clinical research facilities in Kalamazoo in the afternoon. The day ended with an alumni dinner at Webster's in Kalamazoo.
