The FSU Choirs:
Concert Choir & Women's Ensemble
Music 251

About the FSU Choirs
The FSU Choirs are sponsored by Ferris State University as part of its Music for Life! initiative.
The FSU Concert Choir is a mixed choir (SATB) and is the largest vocal ensemble at Ferris State University. Membership is open to all university students and members of the community.
The FSU Concert Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45 p.m. in the FSU Music Center Room 122. The group presents at least 2 concerts each semester and performs pieces from many different periods and in many different styles.
Also available to women members of the Concert Choir by audition is the FSU Women's Ensemble, which rehearses Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-3:50 p.m. in the FSU Music Center Room 122.
Members of these choral groups come from a variety of backgrounds and with different levels of experience. So, whether you have sung in a small church choir or in a large competitive vocal ensemble, we hope you will consider becoming a member of the FSU Concert Choir.
Ferris students can earn Scholarships for their participation in the FSU Choirs!
Academic Credit of 1 hour is earned by enrolling in Music 251 , and the course can be repeated for additional credit every semester. Many of these credits can count towards fulfilling the General Education requirement in the area of Cultural Enrichment.
We invite all interested singers to join the FSU Concert Choir. Please contact director Cate Arroe at (231) 591-2070 or Catherine_Arroe@ferris.edu to get signed up!
