Students at the Michigan College of Optometry established the Michigan Optometric Student Association (MOSA) in 1996. In our short existence, we have developed strong relations with the MOA board and provided many valuable services for optometry students.
Mission Statement
The mission of the MOSA is to coordinate the knowledge and effort of both
students and practicing doctors of optometry who have an association with the
State of Michigan; to maintain a harmonious relationship between its members and
the Michigan Optometric Association; to advance the quality and accessibility of
its members through communication with the existing Michigan doctors of
optometry; to represent the profession of optometry with regard to the highest
standards and values; and to promote its members as competent students,
committed to furthering the growth of optometry in the State of Michigan.
