Mission:
- The eye-care tradition at Shoreline Vision began before 1996 when several prominent ophthalmologists formed a group practice to serve the entire lakeshore region. For over 50 years the physicians, specialists, optometrists and employees of Shoreline Vision have been providing the citizens of the Muskegon/Tri-Cities area excellence in vision care. They have been bringing eye health education and services to the patients of West Michigan and strongly believe in a process of Vision Care for Life. Mission is to be the premier, fully-integrated regional eye care provider with the mission of preserving and improving vision

Orientation Instructions:
You should contact Dr. Fisher 6 weeks prior to the first day of the rotation to verify dates, times, directions, parking, and any other instructions. Report to address above at 8:00 a.m. for orientation to policies, clinical protocol, administrative procedures, etc. Completion of Hepatitis B series is required (unless waiver is signed) and annual TB testing must be completed. BE CERTAIN TO TAKE YOUR CURRENT CPR CRD, TB TEST RESTULTS CARD, AND HEP B (OR WAIVER FORM) TO EACH OF YOUR ROTATION SITES.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
Hours of direct patient care for extern per day: 8 (40 per week)

Educational Objectives:
-- Strengthen interns primary eyecare skills and ocular disease management
-- Give the intern an opportunity to observe ophthalmology subspecialties and surgeeries
-- To enhance the interns clinical skills with didactic education through case presentations and discussions
