On Sept. 2, 2009 Dr. Sarah Hinkley gave a presentation entitled "Healthy You" to the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District. The group consisted of roughly 60 participants, including bus drivers, teachers, para-professionals, speech pathologists, psychologists and others who were informed about simple ways to keep their eyes healthy and protect vision. In addition, the presentation covered the connection between vision and learning. The participants had a chance to ask questions at the conclusion of the program.
