While reading NetLibrary eBooks, use the Notes tab to take notes on the material you are reading. Use the Search tab or the Search field at the bottom of the screen to search the full-text of the title.

FLITE library has access to the Ebrary collection, which contains over 30,000 full text electronic books, available by searching our Online Catalog or directly by searching the Ebrary Site. From the Online Catalog enter a topic of interest under keyword search and choose EBOOKS as a material type. Once you have chosen a title, scroll down to the bottom of the record and note the alt author field which should indicate whether it is an Ebrary title. From the Ebrary Site click on the Search tab and then enter your search.

Once you find an Ebrary ebook, click on "connect to this electronic book" from the catalog record. You can view and read all of the pages of the Ebrary book directly from the Ebrary site using QuickView. However, Ebrary also provides a reader that provides significantly enhanced functionality.

By creating an account you can take advantage of the added InfoTools features such as: highlighting, bookmarking and notes. For more information on these features see the InfoTools guide.

Creating an Account:

When in the Ebrary click the "sign in" link at the top of the left column above the tabs. Enter a username and password. Each time you use Ebrary you can access your bookshelf by signing in. Your notes, highlights and bookmarks will all be saved.

More detailed information on Ebrary is also included on a handout available here as a PDF file.
