Critical Thinking Institute at Ferris State University

The Critical Thinking Institute at Ferris State University is a group of faculty facilitating the infusion of critical thinking across the curriculum at Ferris. Critical Thinking, in general, is a highly disciplined process which entails imposing a formal structure upon thinking and reasoning as well as the application of intellectual standards. Critical Thinking in the classroom means fostering student responsibility for their own learning and development.

Activities of the Institute include two-days workshops for FSU and Andrews University as well as presentations at Lilly-North and the International Conference on Critical Thinking.
