This powerful suite of tools includes America's Career InfoNet (ACINet), America's Job Bank (AJB), and America's Learning Exchange (ALX). This site allows the user to search for jobs by occupational title, city, and state. Major headings include job seekers, employers, and resources.

Dictionary of Occupational Titles, 1991 Edition
"The Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) provides occupational information, including titles and definitions for a myriad of jobs." The online version of the DOT also allows for full-text searching.

General OneFile      [Ferris Only]
A very large full-text database with over 50 million articles, it indexes both newspapers and journals.Coverage is from 1980 to the present. A few journals, especially older dates, give only selective full-text. To find career information, search for a specific occupation and then look under the subcategories of "employment" or "vocational guidance".

Occupational Outlook Quarterly
The online version of Occupational Outlook Quarterly, provides information about careers and jobs in a practical, easy to read format. Information is available from 1999 forward and includes statistics, reports, trends, future outlooks, and salary information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Resumes Resumes is a comprehensive job search Web site tailored specifically for college students and recent graduates. The resume section includes sample resume templates.
