Library Loan Periods (Return Policy)

All books and government documents are generally loaned out for the following time:

Students
  • Three weeks, except at the end of each semester when material is due the last day of classes, unless special arrangement have been made. If students are enrolled for fall semester classes, they may check out library materials during the summer. Student verification can be determined on SIS during the regular work seek. A class schedule needs to be presented during evenings and weekends.

    Faculty/Staff/Administration

  • All materials are due at the end of an academic year. Material can be renewed 3 weeks prior to the due date. All materials renewed at this time will be due at the end of the next academic year. If requests are made for checked out materials, a recall is issued and the materials need to be returned.
  • Faculty Term Loans can be arranged if it is to be used in the classroom; no other faculty needs the material; and with the understanding that after three weeks, it may be subject to recall.
