Lingfei oversees the daily operations of the Check-Out and Reserve Desk along with the Information Point. At this location, patrons can receive circulation services for various types of library materials, current Ferris students, faculty and staff can have their ID records updated and also get their PIN numbers set up for off-campus database access, faculty members can submit course reserve requests, FSU-affiliated library users can obtain a Michicard, guests may purchase a Library Guest card, and FSU faculty and staff may purchase IKON unit cards for printing services. Lingfei participates in planning and assessment activities to revise access services related policies and procedures in order to improve workflows and services. She handles patrons' library fines and bills as well as the weekly Check-Out Desk deposit.
