Helen performs her duties at the Check-out and Reserve Desk, which is situated near the main entrance of the library. At this location, patrons can check materials in and out and receive requested interlibrary loans, faculty members can submit course-reserve requests, guests may purchase a Library card, and FSU faculty and staff may purchase IKON unit cards for printing services. Helen has the primary responsibility of maintaining campus-wide reserve materials - updating and inventorying, as necessary. In addition, she works with the digital resources librarian on the e-reserves. She also assists with the training and supervising of student assistants and works with the Big Rapids Community Library to facilitate patron access to materials.
