Randall Schroeder is the newest member of FLITE and oversees the most visible activities that the Ferris State community associates with the library including instruction, circulation, reference, interlibrary loan, stack maintenance, and support of distance learning. Schroeder came to Ferris State after 13 years as coordinator of information literacy instruction at Wartburg College in Iowa. Prior to Wartburg, he was a reference library for seven years at Augustana College in Illinois. Schroeder has published numerous articles in the area of information literacy and assessment. He is a veteran reviewer for Library Journal in the areas of modern German history and baseball in American history. Schroeder is a part owner of the Green Bay Packers and a quiz winner on Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?. Schroeder has joined the assessment team at FLITE. He is also looking forward to his first university committee.

B.A. in history (world emphasis) and communication arts (journalism emphasis); Wartburg College, Waverly, IA
