Tammy Finch works behind the scenes to keep the online catalog and electronic databases of the Library’s holdings current. Her office is located on the fourth floor of FLITE. From this location she checks in new acquisitions, including periodicals, documents, and CD-ROM’s. Tammy also enters title changes, gifts received and free subscriptions into the University’s online catalog system. She ensures that the Web-holdings list is up-to date and verifies online journal access as well as URL information.

As a result of being enrolled in FSU’s Computer Information Science degree, Tammy has enhanced several of the databases used in her area and has improved many of the reports generated for LIS planning.
