Regional Oral History Office, Bancroft Library
This site provides a variety of resources on oral history from a long-standing program which began to record oral histories in 1954.  It provides guides to oral history collections, both on tape and online.  It also provides details about classroom projects using students to conduct oral history and bibliographies of further resources on the subject. 

Veterans Oral History Project
Hosted by the Library of Congress, this site describes a grassroots effort to collect oral histories about veterans in all fifty states.  It provides detailed information about the goals and methods of the project, as well as providing links to several specific projects previously done in various institututions.

Associations

Oral History Association
Begun in 1966, the Oral History Association provides a nationawide clearinghouse on information both on oral history projects and on methods and tips for managing such projects.  The association holds and annual meeting and workshop, and produces a magazine on oral history.

American Association for State and Local History
In 1947, the American Association for State and Local History broke off from the American Historical Association to "preserve and interpret state and local history in order to make the past more meaningful in American society."  The site provides an online bookstore of publications relating to the topics of oral history and their uses.  They also provide training programs.

JSTOR
JSTOR is a multidisciplinary database which contains the full-text of articles from core journals in 26 academic disciplines. Coverage is from each journal's first issue and continues through 2-5 years from the most recently published issues. Forty-Eight Language and Literature journals are included in JSTOR.
