Ferris Institute Holiday Announcement. (December 1924.)

This is the year of all the years since the dawn of Christendom for sending a Christmas Greeting to all of the children of men, a greeting of service and sacrifice, a greeting of love. For two thousand years governments and individuals have been trying, consciously or unconsciously, to devise short cuts for establishing the universal brotherhood of man. Autocracies have come and gone only to scatter more widely seeds of malice and hatred. What shall the harvest be? The utter destruction or civilization of a new world dedicated to the God of Peace and Love. The brotherhood of nations means the brotherhood of man, means food, clothing, shelter, joy and life through an abiding faith in the goodness, beauty and wisdom of God.

We cherish faith in the coming of a new day and lovingly send you this Christmas Greeting.
