Centrally located in the Information Commons, the Oval Information Desk combines computer support with reference, research, and library information to provide enhanced patron service. The technical staff located to the left at the Oval Information Desk can provide "How to" information and limited technical assistance for students that have questions or problems using the technology in Flite. The technical staff can provide basic knowledge for most campus wide applications as well as possibly offer advanced information on some applications they have used extensively themselves. The desk design also provides accessibility for wheelchair and physically challenged patrons needing a lower work surface.
For assistance with technical issues, look to staff seated on the left. For reference and research assistance, look to staff seated on the right.
