Using RefWorks with Project MUSE

(Note: The Project Muse database has upgraded to a new interface since this tutorial was created. We are currently working to update our screenshots to match, but things may not look the same. Please contact the Oval Information Desk if you need additional assistance.)

You can directly export citations from Project Muse in several easy steps.

Step 1: Perform your search in Project Muse as usual.

Step 2: Select all citations you wish to export by clicking on the check boxes next to the citation.

Step 3: Click on projectmuse3 located either above or below your search results.

Step 4: Select Email/Export Saved Results.

Step 5: Your saved results will display. Under Export marked results to select the button next to RefWorks and then click on the export button.

Step 6: Your citations will be imported into Refworks. If you do not already have RefWorks open, it will open and you will need to log-on. Once RefWorks indicates Import completed you can select JSTOR5 and you are ready to work with your citations!!
