ENGL 150 - Chrenka
Finding Articles
FLITE subscribes to many databases which provide articles originially published in magazines, journals, and newspapers that are not freely available on the Web. Remember that if you want to use FLITE databases from off-campus, click here for instructions on how to log-in. The following are the databases I recommend for this assignment:
General OneFile
A very large full-text database with over 75 million articles covering a myriad of subjects. Try a search for writing under Find Subjects and be sure to set the limit to documents with full-text. Then click on View Subdivisions next to Writing on the Results page.
Wilson OmniFile
This completely full-text database includes articles from a wide range of subject fields including science, humanities, education, and business. Try searches with "writing process" and "how I write."
