As you can see, the format of the citations from the above databases look different, but provide the same basic information. Below is how the citation would be presented in APA citation style:
Lenzer, J. (2006). Doctors outraged at patriot act's potential to seize medical records. BMJ (Clinical research ed.), 332(7533), 69.
The citation above presents the information from PubMed. Notice that the journal title is abbreviated. If you need help finding the full journal title, please ask a librarian.
Lenzer, J. (2006). Doctors outraged at patriot act's potential to seize medical records. British Medical Journal, 332(7533), 69.
The citation above presents the same article information as above, but is taken from the General OneFile citation. Note that the full journal title is provided, rather than abbreviated. Both citations are acceptable and correct.
