Briefs and Special Reports
The Census 2000 Special Report series provides an in-depth analysis of Census 2000 population and housing topics to the public. The reports will utilize different modes of analysis, such as discussion text, maps, text tables, and graphics, to examine a wide variety of topics.
County and City Data Book (2007 ed.)
An online version of the Census Bureau publication, The County and City Data Book includes a number of tables describing aspects of population of the 77 largest cities of the United States, such as ranking in population and land area, minority population, median rent, and public transportation.

Rankings and Comparisons
The Census 2000 PHC-T series of tables covers a wide variety of topics, such as race, Hispanic or Latino origin, group quarters, ancestry -- potentially any data obtained from Census 2000. These tables summarize data available through the Census Bureau’s American FactFinder database, or present the results of other tabulations of Census 2000 data.

Congressional Apportionment
The fundamental reason for conducting the decennial census of the United States is to apportion the members of the House of Representatives among the 50 states. A state's apportionment population is the sum of its resident population and a count of overseas U.S. military and federal civilian employees (and their dependents living with them) allocated to the state, as reported by the employing federal agencies.

Census 2000 County-to-County Worker Flow Files
These files were compiled from Census 2000 responses to the long-form (sample) questions on where people worked. The files present data at the county level. The sort order refers to whether the county of residence or the county of work is the main focus. If you are interested in the number of people who live in a county, and want to know where they work, you should download one of the files sorted by county of residence.
County Business Patterns: Michigan: 2000-2004
The report is useful for studying economic activity both state-wide and within small areas of Michigan. It is also useful for analyzing economic changes over time and as a benchmark for statistical series, surveys and databases between economic censuses.
