iPad Warranties and Insurance

“Do I need insurance for my iPad?” Well, we suggest asking yourself this question before you find your iPad at the bottom of the stairs in FLITE, or submerged in a murky puddle outside your residence hall. But, there’s really no easy answer. There are many different insurance packages from several vendors, and every one protects your iPad in different ways.

It may not be necessary to buy the most expensive insurance with the best coverage for a 16GB iPad mini 4, and similarly, it would’t be the best idea to buy the cheapest and narrowest coverage for a 128GB iPad Pro. It comes down to your particular needs. If you tend to drop your expensive technology, be sure to get an insurance package that covers screen repair. If you would like to take your iPad tubing down the Muskegon River (not something we recommend), then it would be a good idea to buy a package with coverage for full immersion liquid damage.
