Compare educational methods in Scottish classrooms by engaging in dialog with Scottish mentor teachers, teach candidates as well as university faculty.  This education abroad experience includes a visit to London, England, a tour of the Highlands, and classroom visits.

4 credits - Instructional Planning and Delivery Elementary & Middle School - EDUC 413
4 credits - Teaching Reading: Secondary Ed - EDUC 443
3 credits - Teaching Reading: Middle School - EDUC 420

Students can take up to 10 credits on this program.

Students must be in good academic and judicial standing (2.5) GPA, along with successful application and faculty approval.  

Cost

Estimated program fee of $3,700. Program Fee Includes: airfare, in-country transportation, lodging, admissions fees, tour, insurance & $100 application fee. Program Fee Does Not Include: Ferris tuition, required textbooks, passport & personal expenses.           

Estimated Total Cost: $4,795

Living Arrangements

Program participants will reside in residence halls or hotels.
