International Festival of Cultures
The International Festival usually takes place on the second Sunday in April, on campus. The event involves not only a large number of international students and staff but also students with international background or interests.
Table displays showcase over 30 countries and most of them serve traditional dishes or beverages.
Hispanic Festival
The Hispanic Festival is celebrated during the Hispanic Heritage Month (between September 15 and October 15) on our campus quad. It's an outdoor event and students do crafts, taste traditional Hispanic dishes, listen to Latin music and enjoy traditional dances.
Soccer Tournament
The ISO Annual Soccer Tournament takes place during the month of February. It's played indoors at a local school gymnasium during weekends. Students form teams of six and have fun playing this exciting international sport.
International Students Recognition Dinner
A thank you dinner for students and faculty/staff that assist with the organization and preparation of the International Festival of Cultures.
International Students Welcome Picnic
It takes place on the Saturday before classes start. New students, current students, faculty, staff and community members are invited for a picnic in a beautiful city park to get to know each other and the community.
