II – Suggested Program
Sunday
Arrival. Ferris bus will pick students up at the airport in Grand Rapids (airport code GRR)
Accommodation in single rooms in our residence halls
Monday – Friday
8:00 – Breakfast (included)
9:00 – 12:00 - classes and workshops
12:00 – lunch at Ferris (included)
Afternoon – Sightseeing around the town and cities nearby, including Grand Rapids.
Dinner – students will be taken to local restaurants. Pay for themselves
Weekend –
Trip to Mackinaw Island (bus transportation and accommodation in double room included). Cost for student will involve the ferry to the island (approx. $20) and meals. This is the quaint and beautiful island in Lake Huron, one of the big great lakes that surround Michigan. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the island and beautiful bicycle routes and horse rides available.
Monday – Friday (same as previous weeks)
Saturday – Departure – Ferris bus to transport students to Grand Rapids airport.
III – COST (estimate)
US$ 1,650 per student for a group of 10 or more.
US$ 1,450 per student for a group of 20 or more.
Includes:
- Seminars
- Accommodation in single rooms in the residence halls sharing a bathroom with one other student
- All bus transportation cost during the week
- Breakfast and Lunch at Ferris during the week
- Transportation and hotel accommodation during the trip to Mackinaw Island (1 night)
- Transfers in and out of the airport
IV – Students should bring health or travel insurance valid in Michigan.
V – No student visa required
VI – Possible Starting Dates – July 05, 12 or 19.
VII – For groups of Non-English speakers, a translator must be provided. |
