Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, or related field STRONGLY Preferred. Typically, our Hall Directors come to Ferris State having earned a student personnel degree and have served in a residence life graduate assistantship as a Hall Director or Assistant Hall Director. All current Ferris State Hall Directors have relevant master’s degrees and previous residence hall supervision.

Required: Bachelor’s degree with two or more years of progressive residential life experience and responsibility including; staff training, supervision/evaluation, program planning and implementation, facilities management, basic computer applications and student conduct experience. Demonstrated ability to proactively work with diverse populations is a must. High energy and fun loving candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
