Ms. Vanita M. Sanders is in her Junior year at Ferris State University, working towards a Bachelor degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. She is an active member of the Student Social Work Association, Tal-Ten Leadership Program, Phi Alpha Social Work Honors Society and Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honors Society. Compassion for children and youth is the driving force behind Vanita's motivation to help children and youth achieve their dreams. Speaking from her experiences, Vanita has the ability to empower children with the tools that they need to tap into their hidden gifts and talents. Upon graduation in May of 2006, Vanita will be attending graduate school to obtain her Master of Social Work degree along with a Juris Doctorate. Vanita lives by the words of Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. |
