Flu Update from Birkam Health Center: Nov. 2, 2009

H1N1 Flu Vaccine Available at Birkam Health Center

H1N1 Influenza vaccine is now available to students and employees through the age of 24 years. Much of the vaccine made available to the Health Center is in the form of nasal spray vaccine. A smaller number of doses of injectable vaccine are available for those people who meet the qualifications.

Please be prepared to show identification and age verification so that we meet CDC and health department requirements.

This vaccine is available free of charge while supplies last. Students must have paid their Health Fee of $47.00 for Fall Semester or the fee will be charged to your account when you receive the vaccine.

The Health Center also has available a few doses of regular seasonal flu vaccine available.
