Let's Talk About Eating Vegetarian

What's in a name?
Vegetarians avoid all meat, fish and poultry and their eating styles are often classified into three major types:

    1. Lacto-ovo vegetarians may eat eggs and dairy products such as milk, cheese and yogurt. Most vegetarians in the United States and Canada are lacto-ovo vegetarians.
    2. Lacto vegetarians eat dairy products and avoid eggs and other forms of animal protein.
    3. Vegans (pronounced vee gun) are strict vegetarians who avoid all animal products. They also avoid foods that contain whey, casein and other hidden animal product ingredients.
