BULLDOG VOLLEYBALL MATCH STARTING TIME CHANGED
Road Match At Michigan Tech Slated To Start Three Hours Later
The starting time for Ferris State's scheduled volleyball match at Michigan Tech Saturday, Sept. 25, has been moved back three hours later according to an announcement made today (Sept. 14) by the Michigan Tech Univeristy Athletics Department.
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest, which was originally slated to begin at 1 p.m. (EDT), will now start at 4 p.m. (EDT) in MTU's Student Development Complex Gymnasium at Houghton, Mich. The contest was changed due to an officiating conflict.
The change comes in addition to a previously announced change involving the two teams. Recently, it was announced the Bulldogs' home league contest against MTU scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 7, has been moved to Thursday, Nov. 4. The match will begin at 7 p.m. (EST) inside FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids, Mich.
Ferris honored MTU's request to change both the time and date of the Bulldogs' home match. The change was requsted in order for the Huskies and Grand Valley State to move their league encounter the same weekend to Ann Arbor, Mich., as part of the schools' "Bash at the Big House" event.
Ferris State, which is currently 8-2 overall this campaign, opens GLIAC action this Friday, Sept. 17, versus Findlay at FSU’s Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids, Mich. Match time is set for 7 p.m. (EDT). The Bulldogs will then host Ashland Saturday, Sept. 18, in a 4 p.m. (EDT) league home contest.
