VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE ANNOUNCED

November Home Match Against Michigan Tech Moved Up

FSU Volleyball The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced a schedule change for the Bulldogs' home volleyball match versus Michigan Tech in November.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest, which was originally slated to be held on Nov. 7, has now been moved to Thursday, Nov. 4. The match will begin at 7 p.m. (EST) inside FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids, Mich.

Ferris honored MTU's request to change both the time and date of the match. The change was requsted in order for the Huskies and Grand Valley State to explore moving their league encounter the same weekend to Ann Arbor, Mich., as part of the schools' "Bash at the Big House" event.

Ferris State opens its 32nd season of varsity competition this Friday-Saturday, Aug. 27-28, by hosting the Ferris State Invitational at FSU's Ewigleben Sports Complex in Big Rapids, Mich. The Bulldogs are slated to face Midwestern State (Texas) in this Friday's 3 p.m. (EDT) non-league opener and square off against West Virginia State at 6 p.m. (EDT). FSU will then battle California (Pa.) and Saint Joseph's (Ind.) in non-conference action this Saturday at 12 p.m. (EDT) and 3 p.m. (EDT), respectively.
