Freshman Michelle Terry was selected as the team's "Most Outstanding Track Performer" after totaling nine first-place individual finishes during the indoor season and another two during the outdoor portion of the schedule. She captured top honors in the 800 meters (2:16.95) and the mile run (5:10.82) at the GLIAC Indoor Championships, establishing new conference indoor records in both events. Terry won the 800 meters at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships (2:17.21) and was runner-up in the 1500 meters (4:45.37).

Freshman Tianna Kirkland was honored as FSU's "Most Outstanding Field Events Performer" following a productive outdoor season. She placed third in the shot put (43-5) at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships and was 10th in the discus (111-5).

She ran a personal season-best time of 13.24 in the 100-meter dash during the outdoor season at the Saginaw Valley Open to place fourth overall. Freshman Jill Newberry was the recipient of the "Bulldog Award," which recognizes an individual for spirit, dedication, and leadership to the team. Newberry, who competed in both the sprints and hurdles, turned in a personal outdoor season-high second-place time of 1:07.43 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Saginaw Valley Invitational.
