Junior Lewis DeGeneault (Eugene, Ore./Sheldon) was honored with the men's Inspiration Award for his efforts on the court this past season. Meanwhile, freshman Amy Ingle (Battle Creek/Hastings) claimed the same recognition for the women's program.

Finally, Palladino recognized four players with team Leadership Awards. An All-GLIAC Honorable Mention selection, the 5-11 Brundle was 11-6 in singles competition and 12-10 in doubles play this year. One of five seniors on the Bulldog roster, Brundle finished with career marks of 30-21 (singles) and 39-27 (doubles) at Ferris State. Brundle was 5-1 in GLIAC singles play and teamed with DeJose to record a team-leading 6-1 conference doubles record this campaign. The duo won seven of their final 10 decisions. DeJose registered a 9-9 singles record and emerged victorious in four of six GLIAC individual matches. He wrapped up his FSU career with a 19-18 overall singles record and was 24-12 in doubles play, which included an 11-7 mark in 2007-08.
