Coach Becker on Peterson: "Her tenacity as a player is unrivaled. Makenzi's competitiveness puts her in a position to find a starting spot just about anywhere on the field. Offensively, her small stature packs a mean punch as she will fool opponents with her power. Look to see Peterson at the hot spots of the infield or even in the grass as she learns the ropes of the game at this level."
