FERRIS STATE SOFTBALL AT TIFFIN (OHIO) CANCELLED
Bulldogs Lose Second-Straight Doubleheader Due To Weather
The Ferris State University softball team's scheduled non-conference road doubleheader for this Friday (April 11) afternoon at Tiffin (Ohio) has been cancelled due to the weather.
No make-up date has yet been set for the non-conference doubleheader. It marks the second consecutive cancellation for the Bulldogs following this past Wednesday's (April 9) scheduled non-league home tilt versus Wayne State, which was also called off because of weather-related circumstances.
The Bulldogs were slated to face Tiffin to open a three-day swing in Ohio. With the cancellation, Ferris is next scheduled to resume conference play on Saturday (April 12) going up against the Findlay Oilers in Findlay, Ohio. Game one is slated to commence at 1 p.m. (EDT) provided weather is not an issue.
FSU wraps up the week's play this Sunday (April 13) facing the Ashland University Eagles in its second straight GLIAC doubleheader at Ashland, Ohio. The opening tilt is slated to get underway at 1 p.m. (EDT).
The Bulldogs are currently 16-9 overall and is 7-1 in the GLIAC. FSU has won 11 of its last 12 outings to date this campaign.
