2007 Season (Sophomore): Received National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete recognition . . . Earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention plaudits . . . A GLIAC All-Academic Team pick . . . Received the FSU President's Academic Award for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team . . . Placed 24th among national statistical leaders in earned run average (1.16) and was 88th in strikeouts per seven innings (6.3) . . . Paced the Bulldogs in wins (14), earned run average (1.16), innings pitched (138.2), strikeouts (125), appearances (26), games started (20), and complete games (14) while sharing top honors in shutouts (five) . . . 2005 Season (Freshman): Played at Saginaw Valley State University . . . Started in five of 20 contests played in . . . Finished sixth among the Cardinals' batting average leaders at .263 with five base hits in 19 at bats . . . Collected one double while registering a .316 slugging percentage and a .333 on-base percentage . . . Made seven appearances in the pitcher's circle while compiling a 0-1 overall record with a 2.62 ERA . . . Had 10.2 innings pitched while striking out 10 batters . . . Suffered a 3-2 non-league loss to Harris-Stowe (Mo.) at the Florida Tournament in her only starting assignment of the season as she allowed eight hits and posted three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

Coach Becker on Bruntjens: "Holly will continue to create havoc in the pitching circle for us this year. She has an uncanny ability to make hitters hit ground balls by outsmarting them from the circle. She also has continued to work hard both offensively and defensively to compete for an outfield spot when she isn't pitching."
