FERRIS' THURSDAY SOFTBALL TWINBILL NOW IN DETROIT
Previously Scheduled Home Games Now On The Road Due To Schedule Changes
The recent weather situation continues to affect the 2007 Ferris State University softball schedule.
Last week, the weather forced the cancellation of FSU's scheduled Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) twinbills both on the road at Hillsdale (April 6) and Wayne State (April 7).
Due to the cancellations, this Thursday's (April 12) scheduled Bulldog home non-conference doubleheader against Wayne State will now be held in Detroit starting at 3 p.m. (EDT). Additionally, both games will now be league contests in the Motor City.
The conference twinbill at Hillsdale has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17. The Bulldogs' non-league doubleheader at Aquinas has been moved from April 17 to Wednesday, April 18, to accomodate the rescheduled games.
With the site change for Thursday's outing, the Bulldogs' next home action is now slated for this upcoming Saturday, April 14, against Ashland. The two-game league set is set to start at 1 p.m. (EDT) at the FSU Softball Field in Big Rapids. Ferris is also scheduled to host Findlay for a league doubleheader Sunday, April 15, beginning at 12 p.m. (EDT).

Ferris State is presently 14-9-0 overall and 2-2-0 in conference action this season as the Bulldogs have won 11 of their last 14 contests to date.
