BULLDOGS' WEEKEND SOFTBALL GAMES CANCELLED
Wet, Chilly Weather Forces Cancellation Two GLIAC Doubleheaders

| With the cancellation of this weekend's softball games, senior first baseman Laura Crower and the Bulldogs will return to the diamond on April 12 against Wayne State. |
The Ferris State University softball team's two doubleheaders this weekend (April 6-7) have been cancelled due to inclement weather.
The Bulldogs were to play the Hillsdale Chargers this Friday (April 6) in a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contests at Hillsdale, Mich. Ferris was then scheduled to face the Wayne State Warriors this Saturday (April 7) afternoon in Detroit, Mich.
Both of this weekend's contests were called off due to wet field conditions and a forecast of wind chills below 10 degrees.
The conference twinbill at Hillsdale has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17. The Bulldogs' non-league doubleheader at Aquinas has been moved from April 17 to Wednesday, April 18, with game one set to begin at 3:30 p.m. (EDT).
At this time, a make-up date for the doubleheader at Wayne State has yet to be formally announced.
Ferris State is presently 14-9-0 overall and 2-2-0 in conference action this season as the Bulldogs have won 11 of their last 14 contests to date. FSU's is scheduled to host Wayne State Thursday, April 12, in a non-conference doubleheader at the FSU Varsity Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich. The opening game is slated to start at 3 p.m. (EDT).
