WEATHER FORCES SCHEDULE CHANGES AT WAYNE STATE INVITATIONAL
Remaining Games Pushed Back To Sunday Due To Weather
The schedule for the 2006 Wayne State Softball Invitational has been changed due to inclement weather Saturday (March 25) in Detroit, Mich. The originally scheduled 12:30 p.m. (EST) and 3:30 p.m. (EST) games Saturday will now be played at 10:00 a.m. (EST) and 12 p.m. (EST) on Sunday (March 26). The championship round of the WSU Invitational is slated for 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Ferris State opened the invitational with an 8-0 triumph over Findlay Saturday morning in five innings before the remainder of Saturday's games were postponed.
Here is the revised schedule of remaining games on Sunday:
10:00 a.m. - Wayne State vs. Ferris State (main diamond), Findlay vs. Hillsdale (Trumbull diamond)
12 p.m. - Wayne State vs. Findlay (main diamond), Ferris State vs. Hillsdale (Trumbull diamond)
3 p.m. - Championship round
