DIAMOND DAWGS TO HOLD RECEPTION APRIL 29
Event To Take Place Between Games Of April 29th Doubleheader
The Ferris State softball team in conjunction with the FSU Diamond Dawg Club will hold a reception on Saturday, April 29, at the FSU Varsity Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich.
The event, which will be held at approximately 2:30 p.m. (EDT) between games of the Bulldogs' Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader versus the Hillsdale Chargers, is open to all FSU Diamond Dawg Club members and current player's parents. Food will be provided by Mad Dogs Deli and Grill of Big Rapids.

The April 29th contests represent the final 2006 regular-season outings for the Bulldogs. The games also mark the final home appearances for five seniors on this season's team -- pitcher Carissa Quider (Gladwin/Pinconning), second baseman Lindsay Riskovitch (Reese), outfielder Emily McLean (Rogers City), outfielder Jessica Jaroniewski (Millington), and second baseman-first baseman Kristin Hollister (Newport/Airport). They will be recognized during a special pre-game ceremony as part of Ferris Softball's Senior Day.
