Laura Crower and the FSU softball team will host Grand Valley State this Sunday in its home opener because of wet field conditions and inclement weather.
The Ferris State University softball team's scheduled 2006 home opener against West Michigan archrival Grand Valley State this Saturday (April 8) has been moved to Sunday (April 9) due to wet field conditions and inclement weather at the FSU Varsity Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

The Bulldogs and Lakers will play game one of a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. (EDT) with the second game to follow 30 minutes upon the opening contest's conclusion.

Ferris State is presently 13-17-0 overall and 1-3-0 in GLIAC play for the 2006 campaign.
