Ferris State Women's Soccer Notes

Ferris State will host 10 home contests this campaign at the FSU Varsity Soccer Field. The Bulldogs' first home encounter is a non-conference outing against Madonna Friday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. (EDT). FSU will also host Northern Kentucky this Saturday (Sept. 11) in a 12 p.m. (EDT) non-league home contest.

Junior forward Lisa O'Brian (Kalamazoo, Mich./Loy Norrix) presently ranks as FSU's second all-time leading scorer and goal producer with 48 points and 20 markers. O'Brian's eight career assists currently ranks third on the school's all-time list.

Freshman forward Anslee Stuber-Powell (Lansing/Holt) registered her first collegiate goal on Monday (Sept. 6) at St. Joseph's (Ind.).

The Bulldogs have scored five goals in their last two games this campaign after totaling only four goals in their initial three outings this season.

Junior forward Lindsey Pawloski (Royal Oak/Kimball) presently has registered a team-high nine points (4-1--9) to date this season. She currently ranks fifth on the school's all-time points leaders list with 24 (9-6--24) career points.

Sophomore goalkeeper Carla Gilbertson's (Waunakee, Wis.) nine saves Monday (Sept. 6) at St. Joseph's was one shy of matching her personal career-record of 10 set last season against Indianapolis (9/14/03). Gilbertson has nine career victories to date and is presently one win away from tying Connie Bigott (2000-01) for the second-most wins in the program's history.

Carla Gilbertson registered her first career shutout in Monday's 3-0 triumph at St. Joseph's (Ind.).

The Bulldogs have been out shot in all five of their outings to date this campaign. FSU has also committed more fouls than its opponent in four of its five contests this year.

FSU improved to 2-1-1 all-time versus St. Joseph's (Ind.) with Monday's triumph in Rensselaer, Ind.

Lindsey Pawloski presently needs one goal to move into a third place tie on the school's career goal-scoring leaders chart.
