Ferris State Women's Soccer Notes

Ferris State returns to action with three non-league outings this week. The Bulldogs will visit Calvin Thursday (Sept. 23) for a 4 p.m. (EDT) encounter in Grand Rapids, Mich.

FSU will then host Charleston (W.Va.) Saturday (Sept. 25) at 1 p.m. (EDT) and West Virginia Wesleyan Sunday (Sept. 26) in a 12 p.m. (EDT) contest. Both outings will be held at the FSU Varsity Soccer Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

The Bulldogs, who are presently 3-3-1 overall this campaign, have scored two or more goals in four consecutive outings to date this campaign.

Sophomore goalkeeper Carla Gilbertson (Waunakee, Wis.) tied Connie Bigott (2000-01) for the second-most wins in the program's history with her shutout of Northern Kentucky (Sept. 11) in FSU's most recent contest. Gilbertson, who has a current career mark of 10-7-1, has two shutouts in her last three outings to date this season.

The Bulldogs have been out shot in all seven of their outings to date this campaign. FSU has also committed more fouls than its opponent in five of its seven contests this year.

Junior forward Lindsey Pawloski (Royal Oak/Kimball) presently has registered a team-high 11 points (5-1--11) to date this season. She currently ranks fifth on the school's all-time points leaders list with 26 (10-6--26) career points.

Lindsey Pawloski moved into a third place tie on the school's career goal-scoring leaders chart with her fifth marker this campaign versus NKU (Sept. 11). Pawloski, who has 10 career goals to date, is presently one goal shy of tying current junior forward Andrea Moma (Middleville/Wayland Union) for third place on FSU's all-time list.

Junior midfielder Kristin Aukeman (Hudsonville/Unity Christian) currently ranks second on the Bulldogs' career assists chart with 10 to date. Former FSU player Emily Rogers (2000-03) is listed first on the all-time list with 29 assists.

Lindsey Pawloski's 11 points to date this season in seven games presently ranks 10th on the school's single-season leaders list. Her current output of five goals this year is the fifth-best single-season total in school history.

Junior forward Lisa O'Brian (Kalamazoo, Mich./Loy Norrix) presently ranks as FSU's second all-time leading scorer and goal producer with 48 points and 20 markers. O'Brian's eight career assists currently ranks third on the school's all-time list.

The Bulldogs have scored nine goals in their last four games this campaign after totaling only four goals in their initial three outings this season.
