Tammy Unsworth
Through its initial eight matches this season, Ferris State has compiled a 3-4-1 overall record compared to a 2-6-0 mark a season ago. The Bulldogs have scored seven goals this campaign after netting 22 last season following its first eight encounters, but have currently held the opposition to 15 markers this fall in comparison to 31 total in 2007.

Freshman defender Mekyla Spraggins (Grand Rapids/Forest Hills Central) has earned an assist in two of the Bulldogs' last three contests to date. She assisted on Ferris State's second goal in Sunday's (9/28) 2-2 double overtime tie at Findlay after notching her first helper of this season in a 1-0 decision at Northern Michigan (9/21).

Senior forward Tammy Unsworth (White Lake/Walled Lake Northern) is two assists shy of moving into a second-place tie with Kristie Smilanich (2004-07) on Ferris State's all-time assists leaders list. Smilanich produced 21 career assists while Unsworth, who has one helper in five matches this season to date, has amassed a current 19 career assists total. Unsworth also presently ranks third among FSU's career leaders in points (75) and goals (28).

Prior to Sunday's (9/28) double-overtime decision at Findlay, the last time Ferris State ended up with a tie was last season (10/28) when the Bulldogs played to a 2-2 double overtime non-league tie at Tiffin.

Junior forward Megan McCabe (Brighton/Pinckney) and redshirt freshman forward Bri Borgman (Holland/West Ottawa), the team's top two goal scorers this season, have combined to account for 57.1% (4-7) of the Bulldogs' goal-scoring production to date for the 2008 campaign. The pair both have a team-leading two goals apiece.
