Senior forward Heather O'Keefe's (Ada/Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central) 33 points (13-7=33) in 18 matches this season not only represents a career single-season high, but equals her combined points total (12-9=33) in 36 outings over the previous two seasons (2005 and 2006).
|Heather O'Keefe has recorded at least one goal in 10 matches to date this fall, which includes a trio of two-goal match performances for the 2007 season.
Heather O'Keefe's goal at Tiffin last Sunday (10/28) marked the 10th time this season in which the forward has tallied a goal in a match. O'Keefe, who also picked up an assist in the contest, has totaled 10 multiple-point matches this season to date.
Ferris State's 127 points on 44 goals and 39 assists in 18 matches this fall is a school single-season record, eclipsing the 120 points (46-28=120) set by the 2006 team. The 39 helpers also represents a school single-season best, bettering the 36 assists generated by the 2003 squad. The 2007 Bulldogs are also two goals shy of tying the program's single-season goal-scoring total of 46 which was produced by the 2006 squad.
Junior forward Tammy Unsworth (White Lake/Walled Lake Northern) is six points shy of notching her 75th career point at Ferris State. Unsworth has currently amassed career totals of 69 points on 26 goals with 17 assists in 54 contests. She has posted a team third-place high 24 points (9-6=24) in 18 matches to date this fall.
