The contest was the final one of the season for Ferris State and represented the squad's annual Senior Day contest as goalkeeper Carla Gilbertson (Waunakee, Wis.) and defender Lyndsay Sleek (Royal Oak/Kimball) were honored prior to their final home outings.
Ferris State concluded the year with a 7-11 overall mark under interim head coach Neathan Gibson. The Bulldogs finished GLIAC play with a 3-5 league mark.

The Bulldogs' 120 total points and 46 goals to date this campaign both represented the highest single-season production in school history.
Ferris' 28 total assists this season is listed third on the school's single-season list. The school record of 36 assists was set during the 2003 campaign.
Carla Gilberston's seven victories in net this season ranked tied for third place on Ferris' seasonal list. Gilbertson holds the distinction of owning the program's top four single-season victory marks for a goalkeeper. She tallied nine wins in both 2004 and 2005 along with seven victories in 2003.
Kristie Smilanich's 67 career points and 27 total goals are both listed second all-time on Ferris' career performers list. Former Bulldog player Emily Rogers (2000-03) owns the top individual career performances with 119 total points and 45 goals at Ferris State.
Carla Gilberston concluded her career as FSU's all-time leader in career saves (365) and victories (32) for a goalkeeper.
Lyndsay Sleek and junior defender Ashley Lukes (Kokomo, Ind./Western) have both started 55 career contests, which ranks tied for sixth all-time at Ferris.
